JamFit encompasses kinder fitness programs that focus on the fundamentals of recreational gymnastics and adult fitness classes. Our multi-use fitness studio has everything our JamFit Jammers need to improve their strength, flexibility, and stamina while also having a fun time!

JamFit is a newly built fitness studio located in Manotick, ON and we are looking for coaches and fitness trainers like you to work with the children!

The Children's Fitness Coach will be reporting directly to the head coach of the JamFit Kids head coach

Skills and Experience:

​

• Plan and implement daily training sessions for children ages 4-8 years old

• Excellent oral communication skills

• Evaluate and report achievements and distribute progress reports

• Highly energetic, fun, creative, and enthusiastic!

• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail

• Able to inspire the children through fun games and engaging activities

• Background in fitness, gymnastics, dancing, or cheer

• Exceptional time managing skills

• Able to take initiative but also be a team player

• Experience working/coaching children is considered a strong asset

• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Able to train and monitor groups of 6-8 children

• Police record checks and the vulnerable sector screening will be required for the role

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)

• Level 1Intro to Foundations, a certificate in coaching gymnastics is a strong asset

• Any HighFive Credentials

• First Aid & CPR will be required for the role (willing to train)

 

Hours: Part-time 10-15 hours a week including Saturdays

Compensation: Starts at $16 per hour based on experience and certifications
